About Me

I have always been a creative storyteller. A dreamer.

I am a recent graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) with a BFA in Spatial Experience Design and an AAS degree in Communication Design Foundation. I have experience working in various Adobe programs in Adobe Creative Suite and have completed a wide array of projects in areas including Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Advertising & Digital Design, and Spatial Experience Design.

I love learning about design and am always open to learning something new.

I get inspired by vivid colors, patterns and designs as well as nature.

I have a keen eye for color and composition which aids me in creating eye-catching designs. I'm meticulous and well-organized which leads me to get the task at hand done.

My dream project would be to collaborate with friends, create something that will benefit many people and bring a smile to someone's face, and possibly change the way someone thinks by inspiring others.

My Story

Ever since I was a kid, I have always been a creative storyteller. I had numerous artistic hobbies to use as creative outlets. I made numerous items out of duct tape, including the wallet that I still use today since middle school. (It's a bit dirty-looking now but sure is durable!) I was also a daydreamer who wrote stories and poems whenever an idea sparked within me. I found myself to be the most creative and at ease when surrounded by nature because I saw it as an escape from my everyday city life. My mind would absorb my surroundings; I would breathe in the fresh air, smell the flowers and see the sunlight peek through the swaying trees as I hear them blowing in the wind along with the rustling leaves.

I would also draw and make paper dolls at school and at home. I even remember making little accessories for the paper dolls and a house as well.

I also became interested and even obsessed with avatar video games. I would play the Sims 2 for hours, creating families and homes. I also became obsessed with this popular avatar game at the time called MovieStarPlanet. Every avatar was a "movie star" who had the option to direct/create and star in their own movies. I remember making countless movies and tv series.

As I got older, I became interested in photography and took photos of anything that caught my eye in my spare time. I later took a digital photography class in high school and black and white analog photography classes at the International Center of Photography (ICP). My teachers recommended I submit my photography work to the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, which I later won Gold and Silver Keys as well as Honorable Mentions. I remember feeling amazed seeing my Gold Key photograph displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) along with all of the other Gold Key recipients.

During the same time, I became interested in digital art, graphic design and video editing when I took a digital art class at school. I enjoyed it so much that I took the digital art class every year in high school and finally decided that pursuing a career in the art and design field was the right path for me.
